COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

NORC & AWC Presented Certificates of Achievement To Amani Community Ambassadors For Their Outstanding Field Work On “CDC’s Women’s Health Needs Study”. An acknowledgment of thanks for the excellent work you have done, first to pilot the WHNS Study and then to carry out the full study so that it can faithfully represent women’s experiences. Each AWC community ambassador successfully completed the training course, demonstrating proficiency in social science research, specializing in hard-to-reach populations, cultural awareness, and addressing sensitive topics.

AWC is proud of everything Doris and her team of community ambassadors have done to make the WHNS Study a success.

Amani Women Center educates and empowers refugee women with culturally sensitive tools that contribute to their economic security and overall wellbeing. AWC's holistic approach is to cater to the well-being of the community through a variety of hands-on programs sensitively tailored to specific needs.
